Description

From the Pointe des Follys, you’ll be treated to a magnificent panoramic view: the Abondance Valley, the Dents du Midi, Mont de Grange, and Lake Geneva.
The descent also offers lovely views of the Charmy Valley and a pleasant forest trail.

Take the Essert gondola (passes available at the ski area ticket offices).
Head to the trailhead at the base of the Petit Frémoux ski lift.
Head toward the Essert chalets, then climb toward the forest and follow it along until you reach the ridge.
Follow the ridge (be careful not to get too close to the edge of the cliff) until you reach the relay station (antennas).
Descend via the same route back to the gondola station.
At the summit, enjoy a panoramic view of Mont de Grange, Lake Geneva, and the Dents du Midi.

Pass above the Essert restaurant and continue toward the Corne ski lifts.
Then cross the ascent run of the Lac ski lift toward the Brion chalets.
Continue toward the Mont Logis and Bothiay chalets until you reach Charmy l’Envers, then take the road to the left toward Abondance until you reach the gondola parking lot.

Your hike takes you through part of the Essert ski area.
It is recommended that you avoid walking on the slopes reserved for skiers.
